Truck Driver / Yardperson

PTE Group is one of Western Australia's leading vehicle body builders, specialising in truck bodies, trailers, ute trays and custom transport equipment. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a reliable and motivated HR Truck Driver to join our busy manufacturing team in Welshpool.

This is a varied role that involves driving throughout the Perth metro area, delivering completed transport equipment, vehicles and products, collecting materials from suppliers, assisting with loading and unloading trucks and trailers, and helping maintain a safe and organised yard.

Key Requirements

• Immediate start available
• Current HR Driver's Licence with relevant driving experience
• Current Forklift Licence (essential)
• Experience loading and unloading trucks and trailers
• Ability to safely restrain loads using straps
• Experience operating trucks with trailers
• Reliable, punctual and committed to turning up every day
• Self motivated with a strong work ethic
• Able to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Comfortable interacting with customers and suppliers
• Flexible attitude with a willingness to assist where required
• Ability to organise vehicle parking within the yard
• Strong focus on safety and attention to detail
