ABOUT THE ROLE

The King's School in North Parramatta seeks experienced teachers for the Senior School’s dynamic Geography Department.

• Actively engage students in the learning process.
• Effectively plan, structure and sequence learning programs.
• Understand the syllabus content and employ effective teaching and learning strategies for classroom practice.
• Engage in professional learning and continuous improvement of classroom practice.
• Collaborate with colleagues in cross‑departmental activities, team teaching, observation, and resource sharing to improve learning across the school.
• Engage with parents/carers in the education process.
• Effectively manage classroom activities.
• Utilise appropriate strategies for teaching students from diverse backgrounds.

• Demonstrated experience in teaching Geography.
• Experience in teaching within IB Schools or IB Diploma courses is an advantage.
