Job Summary

We are looking for a Senior Accountant with strong expertise in accounting operations, financial reporting, and compliance to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing day-to-day accounting activities, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting strategic financial decisions in a fast-paced IT environment.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage full-cycle accounting including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, and Bank Reconciliation.
2. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and MIS reports.
3. Handle TDS, GST filing, and other statutory compliances (Income Tax, PF, etc.).
4. Coordinate with auditors for internal and statutory audits.
5. Monitor cash flow, receivables, and vendor payments.
6. Ensure compliance with Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS) and Companies Act.
7. Reconcile inter-company transactions and manage project-wise costing (IT services/projects). Support the finance manager in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
8. Handle payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
9. Implement and improve internal controls and accounting processes.

Requirements & Qualifications:

1. Education: Chartered Accountant (CA) Inter / CA / M.Com / B.Com with relevant certifications (preferred).
2. Experience:Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as an Accountant/Senior Accountant, preferably in an IT/ITES or service industry.
3. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, and other direct & indirect tax laws.
4. Proficiency in Tally Prime / ERP software and advanced MS Excel.
5. Experience in handling IT company-specific accounting (project billing, revenue recognition, etc.) is a big advantage.
6. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
7. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
