Job Overview

Customer Service Advisor based in Widnes (WA8 7QF) for a leading manufacturer of water treatment and process chemicals. Permanent, full‑time position with a salary of £30,000‑£35,000 depending on experience.

Hours

Monday to Thursday 08:30–16:50 and Friday 08:30–16:00.

Responsibilities

  • Process customer orders and book them into the system
  • Liaise with hauliers and the production team
  • Produce relevant paperwork and update trade agreements
  • Invoice customers and authorise purchase invoices for hauliers
  • Handle purchase order processing and authorisation

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a similar customer service role
  • Ability to pick up tasks quickly and efficiently
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Computer literate and comfortable using the system
  • Team player who can take on other duties where necessary
