Job Overview
Customer Service Advisor based in Widnes (WA8 7QF) for a leading manufacturer of water treatment and process chemicals. Permanent, full‑time position with a salary of £30,000‑£35,000 depending on experience.
Hours
Monday to Thursday 08:30–16:50 and Friday 08:30–16:00.
Responsibilities
- Process customer orders and book them into the system
- Liaise with hauliers and the production team
- Produce relevant paperwork and update trade agreements
- Invoice customers and authorise purchase invoices for hauliers
- Handle purchase order processing and authorisation
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a similar customer service role
- Ability to pick up tasks quickly and efficiently
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Good attention to detail
- Computer literate and comfortable using the system
- Team player who can take on other duties where necessary
