Health & Safety Advisor

Location: Dublin (primarily) with one day per week in Kildare Company Type: Residential Main Contractor Salary: €50,000 €55,000 DOE + Fuel Card Job Type: Permanent Health & Safety Advisor BSS is currently recruiting a Health & Safety Advisor on behalf of a well-established residential main contractor delivering high-quality construction projects across the Greater Dublin area. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated Health & Safety professional withat least two years construction H&S experience who is looking to further develop their career within a busy and supportive construction environment. The role is predominantly based on projects in Dublin, with one day per week required on a site in Kildare.

Key Responsibilities Promote a positive health and safety culture across multiple construction sites. Conduct regular site inspections and safety audits. Ensure compliance with current health and safety legislation and company procedures.

Prepare risk assessments, method statements and safety documentation. Deliver site inductions and toolbox talks. Investigate incidents, near misses and accidents, producing reports and recommendations.

Liaise with site management, subcontractors and client representatives on all H&S matters. Monitor corrective actions and ensure close-out of any non-conformances. Support continuous improvement initiatives across the business.

Requirements Minimum2 years experience in a Health & Safety Advisor role within the construction industry. Relevant Health & Safety qualification (NEBOSH, Diploma, Degree or equivalent). Strong knowledge of Irish construction health and safety legislation.

Previous experience working on construction sites is essential. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Full clean driving licence.
