Senior Accountant - Cork

My client is a leading international engineering company with over 50 years of industry success and annual revenues exceeding €80m. Due to continued growth across the UK and Ireland, they are looking to appoint a Senior Accountant/ Finance Manager to their team in Cork. You will play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, strengthening financial controls, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.

Key Responsibilities: Produce timely and accurate financial & management accounts Manage P&L, balance sheet, fixed assets and revenue reporting Coordinate with auditors and manage audit queries Oversee stock valuations and cash flow forecasting Manage project and contract costing to ensure profitability Support the implementation and enhancement of accounting systems Provide guidance and oversight to junior accounting staff This is an opportunity to contribute directly to operational and commercial performance in a busy, fast-paced environment. Requirements: ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with 35 years PQE Experience in manufacturing or service industry highly desirable Strong technical accounting and reporting skills Excellent analytical ability and attention to detail Confident communicator who can collaborate across departments Motivated, ambitious and eager to grow professionally Skills: Month End Accounting Financial Accounting Cash Flow Forecasting
