Job Description: Associate Professor - Computer Science Cluster

About Dayananda Sagar University (DSU), Bangalore - School of Engineering (SoE), invites applications for Associate Professor in Computer Science cluster (including CSE, AI/ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, etc.). Candidates must hold B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. exclusively in CS Engineering disciplines, with 10-15 years of relevant teaching/research/industry experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Computer Science specializations.
• Mentor students, supervise projects/theses, and contribute to curriculum development.
• Engage in research, publish in reputed journals, and secure funded projects.
• Participate in academic administration, industry collaborations, and institutional activities.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• B.Tech, M.Tech, and Ph.D. in Computer Science Engineering or closely related engineering field (mandatory).
• Minimum 10+ years of experience post-Ph.D., including at least 5 years at Assistant Professor level or equivalent.
• Strong record of publications, teaching excellence, and professional development activities.

Preferred Skills

• Expertise in emerging areas like AI, ML, Data Science, Cyber Security, or Robotics.
• Experience with NBA/NAAC accreditation processes and grant funding.
