Software Engineer

Job Description Insight Global is seeking a Backend Engineer with 6+ years of professional experience building back-end services to support a AAA gaming company's Infrastructure & Platform Services team. This team develops and operates the core technology powering their games, delivering secure, scalable, and reliable live services. You will report to a Senior Engineering Manager and join the Integrated Content team focused on user-generated experiences (UGX).

The ideal candidate will have strong experience developing dynamic, resilient systems, implementing data migration and backup strategies, and designing complex features end-to-end. You will also be responsible for maintaining security best practices, including access controls across ingestion and search platforms. Skills and Requirements 6+ years of professional experience programming back-end services Proficiency in Scala, Java, or Python Experience leveraging AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, or similar coding assistants to improve engineering productivity and software quality. Experience delivering and managing high traffic, high performance services Expertise in Search Platform technologies including OpenSearch or ElasticSearch Exposure to both imperative and functional programming languages Experience deploying and maintaining virtual infrastructure on AWS (e.g.

EKS, OpenSearch, Terraform), or other cloud providers Experience building CI/CD Pipelines Experience working with Flink or similar streaming platform Experience with AWS migration solutions like Glue, Data Sync or DMS #J-18808-Ljbffr
