Are you an independent sales professional that is interested in driving sales results in a new industry? Park’N Fly, Canada’s leading airport parking provider, is seeking a self-motivated sales professional to fill an Account Executive role based in Edmonton. This position is directly responsible for soliciting new business primarily from medium/large sized enterprises that have existing or expected travel budgets, as well as from companies employing rotational fly-in-fly-out crews in the natural resources sector. In addition, the individual will be responsible for managing and growing an existing account base that also includes our travel agency and local hotel partners. The following position will be of interest to current travel industry professionals, independent salespeople and entrepreneurs, who are result-oriented and driven by closing new business and relationship building. Key Responsibilities: Initiates outbound calls and in-person visits to targeted companies with the purpose of securing new business Solicits and secures in-person and digital meetings with targeted accounts Secures new accounts and revenue streams from the corporate sector from organizations and amongst local travel agencies and hotels, including organizations employing rotational work crews Manages and grows the existing book of business as defined in the territory, including engaging with local travel agencies and hotels to promote the use of our facility Responsible for setting sales plans by geographic area and achieving the desired quota of sales calls and meetings per week Recommends programs to support both short and long-term sales strategies that stimulate new business Actively participates at industry events and supports other partner activities as deemed necessary – tradeshows, etc. as required Responsible for maintaining an up-to-date corporate and leisure account base in a designated geographic area – using a shared CRM platform Seeks innovative ways of managing the corporate business and leisure verticals Skills & Requirements: Business/ Marketing/Hospitality Management Diploma/Degree 3+ years experience in direct sales or inside sales required Previous experience using a CRM platform e.g. Salesforce or Act! Familiarization and comfort with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Knowledge of the corporate travel sector and/or tourism industry would be an asset Must have own vehicle and valid driver’s license Must reside in Edmonton area Compensation for this position is $55,000 to $60,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Employees are also eligible for a performance-based bonus program, with bonus awards determined at the Company's discretion based on individual and/or company performance.
This position includes a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision coverage, as well as a car allowance. The successful candidate must be based in Edmonton, Alberta.
