Job Role: Senior Manager / AVP – Project Planning (Data Center MEP) Location: Hyderabad Experience: 10–18 Years We are looking for an experienced Project Planning Leader from the Data Center / Mission Critical Infrastructure domain to join our growing team. This role requires a highly driven professional who can lead project planning, scheduling, monitoring, risk management, and execution control for large-scale Data Center MEP projects . The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in managing complex project schedules involving electrical systems, HVAC, chilled water networks, liquid cooling infrastructure, fire systems, BMS, and commissioning activities .
The candidate should be capable of driving planning excellence across the entire project lifecycle—from design coordination and procurement through installation, testing, commissioning, and handover—ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned to mission-critical uptime requirements. Job Responsibilities Develop detailed project schedules, master plans, milestone trackers, and baseline programs using MS Project for end-to-end Data Center MEP execution Build and manage planning schedules covering electrical infrastructure (HT/LT), UPS, DG, transformers, HVAC systems, chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, piping networks, fire protection, BMS, and ELV systems Identify critical path activities, interdependencies, and execution bottlenecks across design, procurement, installation, testing, and commissioning phases Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly progress against approved schedules and baseline milestones Track schedule variance, productivity trends, cost performance, and contractor execution delays Prepare management dashboards, project progress reports, look-ahead plans, and planning reviews for leadership Perform delay analysis and identify risks impacting project delivery timelines, including long-lead MEP equipment procurement risks Develop mitigation strategies, acceleration plans, and recovery schedules to address project slippages Plan manpower deployment, subcontractor mobilization, equipment allocation, and resource utilization effectively Coordinate closely with procurement, design, engineering, and execution teams to ensure timely material availability and installation readiness Support project cash flow forecasting, cost control, and budget tracking for MEP packages Drive accountability across consultants, OEMs, EPC partners, contractors, and internal stakeholders to ensure execution commitments are met Ensure planning alignment for testing, commissioning, integrated systems testing (IST), and final project handover Required Experience 10–18 years of experience in Project Planning / Project Controls / Construction Scheduling Strong experience in Data Center MEP projects, Mission Critical Facilities, Industrial Infrastructure, or Large-scale MEP Projects Proven experience managing complex project schedules involving multiple contractors, vendors, and stakeholders Strong understanding of MEP construction sequencing, commissioning workflows, and mission-critical infrastructure delivery Experience handling schedule recovery, delay analysis, risk mitigation, and project reporting Exposure to Tier III / Tier IV Data Center environments is highly preferred Experience working with EPC contractors, MEP consultants, or Data Center developers is a strong advantage Required Skills MS Project Critical Path Analysis Resource Planning Delay Analysis Recovery Scheduling Project Controls Cost Monitoring Risk Management Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills Good understanding of Data Center MEP systems and commissioning lifecycle
