Workiva Configuration Analyst

We are looking for a Workiva Configuration Analyst to support the configuration, administration, and optimization of the Workiva platform across finance and reporting functions. This role will partner closely with Finance, Accounting, Reporting, and IT teams to drive reporting automation, workflow optimization, data governance, and enterprise reporting transformation initiatives. Location: India (Remote) Employment Type: Contract-to-Hire (8 Months) / Full-Time Experience: 3-8 Years Key Responsibilities: Configure and administer Workiva components including Workspaces, User Security, Document Permissions, Data Linking, Reporting Templates, and Workflows.

Support SEC, statutory, management, and financial reporting processes within Workiva. Manage integrations between Workiva and ERP/EPM platforms such as SAP, Oracle, OneStream, and other enterprise systems. Configure data loads, mappings, validations, and reporting controls.

Troubleshoot reporting, data linkage, and platform configuration issues. Participate in SIT, UAT, and regression testing activities. Develop SOPs, training materials, and end-user documentation.

Support critical financial reporting cycles and reporting deadlines. Identify opportunities for automation, process improvement, and governance enhancements. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field. 3–8 years of experience in Workiva administration/configuration, financial systems, reporting platforms, or EPM/CPM tools.

Hands-on experience with Workiva Wdesk configuration and administration. Strong understanding of financial reporting, consolidation processes, and regulatory/statutory reporting. Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, FCC, or OneStream.

Knowledge of data integrations, workflow automation, and reporting controls. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and stakeholder management skills. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Workiva Chains and automation capabilities.

Exposure to XBRL, SEC reporting, and SOX compliance. Experience with Smart View reporting. Knowledge of financial planning, consolidation systems, and data governance practices.

Prior involvement in large-scale finance transformation programs. Workiva certifications are highly desirable.
