About The Role:

We are seeking a Web Developer to join our team and contribute to building modern, scalable and high performing web applications. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop intuitive user interfaces and robust backend integrations using Node.js. Angular and TypeScript.

What You’ll Be Responsible For:

• Develop, optimize and maintain web applications using Node.js and Angular.
• Write clean, modular, and reusable Typescript code following best practices.
• Implement responsive designs using HTML/CSS keeping cross-browser compatibility in mind.
• Work closely with designers and back-end developers to integrate APIs and UI components.
• Optimize web applications for performance, scalability, security and reliability
• Debug and troubleshoot UI/UX issues in development/UAT/production.
• Write unit and integration tests using frameworks such as Cypress or similar.
• Participate in code reviews and agile development sprints etc.

What We’re Looking For:

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related fields.
• 5-10 years of professional experience in software development with significant experience in Web UI development.
• Strong hands-on experience with Angular is required, including the ability to work effectively within a large, complex Angular codebase.
• Proven experience in JavaScript/Typescript/Node.js development.
• Experience integrating with RESTful APIs and third-party services.
• Understanding of UI performance optimization techniques – startup time, latency.
• Solid knowledge of security best practices (OIDC/OAuth2, RBAC, CORS, CSRF, etc) and awareness of known standards (OWASP Top Ten etc).
• Experience developing containerized applications that run in Docker/Kubernetes
• Experience working in Kubernetes environments (using Helm etc)
• Experience working with CICD tools such as Jenkins
• Strong understanding of Git/Github for version control.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities in a global engineering environment.

Good to have:

• Experience working in Agile and Continuous Deployment environments
• Experience working in Linux environments and proficiency in shell scripting
• Familiarity with AWS
