Key Responsibilities

• Full Cycle Accounting including AP, AR, Reconciliations
• Support Data Entry Clerks with all AP and AR functions
• Support Data Entry Clerks with Bank and Credit Card reconciliation
• Monthly accounting reports
• Book all prepaid expense entries
• Book all deferred revenue entries
• Review general ledger accounts for accuracy
• Update working papers monthly to ensure accuracy of GL accounts
• Month end reporting
• Compile approved month end financial reports
• Other duties as assigned

Reports to Director of Finance

Schedule

Monday to Friday - 8:30am - 4:30pm (or an approved variation)

Qualifications & Education

• Post-secondary Degree in Accounting. New grads welcome to apply.
• Experience with Sage 50 an asset
• Experience with QuickBooks Online an asset
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Excellent organization skills
• Effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Accounting: 1 year (preferred)
