Junior Web Developer (WordPress & Shopify)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain websites using WordPress and Shopify.
• Build responsive and mobile-friendly web pages.
• Customize WordPress themes, plugins, and Shopify themes.
• Integrate third-party plugins, apps, and APIs.
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues, bugs, and performance concerns.
• Perform website updates, backups, and maintenance activities.
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO.
• Coordinate with designers and marketing teams to implement website requirements.
• Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

Required Skills

• Hands-on experience with WordPress and Shopify.
• Strong knowledge of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, and Bootstrap.
• Basic knowledge of PHP and MySQL.
• Experience in WordPress theme and plugin customization.
• Experience in Shopify theme customization and app integration.
• Understanding of responsive web design principles.
• Familiarity with website hosting, domain management, and cPanel.
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices.
• Knowledge of website performance optimization techniques.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot technical issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with WooCommerce.
• Familiarity with Git/GitHub.
• Basic knowledge of Elementor, WPBakery, or other page builders.
• Understanding of website security and SSL implementation.

Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
