HiPEAC
Job Description
Within the Computational Earth Sciences group, the Models and Workflows team is looking for a web developer with knowledge and experience in ReactJs to improve the Autosubmit workflow manager Graphical Interface. Python skills will also be desirable to help develop and maintain Autosubmit.
Autosubmit is a Python-based open-source workflow management system to automate, orchestrate, and monitor complex scientific workflows on Cloud and HPC platforms. It enables researchers to define and execute workflows composed of multiple interdependent tasks, automatically managing job scheduling, dependencies, data transfers, monitoring, and fault recovery across one or more computing platforms. Originally developed for climate and Earth system modeling, Autosubmit has become a key component of several large European initiatives, including Destination Earth, TerraDT, EDITO, EO4EU, and operational forecasting and climate services at BSC, where it supports the execution of large-scale numerical simulations and AI-driven workflows.
