Job Summary

English Teacher position in one of Ibiza's main Language Schools for children and adults, part time and extendable to full-time according to qualifications.

The Instituto de Idiomas Ibiza is one of the main language schools on the island of Ibiza. We are the first Trinity College London Examination Centre on the island, Cambridge Exams Preparations Centre and we prepare for TOEFL and IELTS exams.

We teach children ages 4 onwards, teenagers, adults and English for professionals in companies. Apart from our English programmes we also teach Spanish for foreigners being the first school accredited by Instituto Cervantes in Ibiza. Furthermore, we teach German, French, Italian and Russian.

We are looking for a qualified English teacher for children and adults for a full or part-time position starting April 2026 until une 2026 with Possibility of renewing contract from September 2026 to June 2027

Qualifications

• Native teachers must have a University degree as well as teacher training or previous teaching experience
• Non-native teachers must have a high level of English (C1), a university degree and either the Spanish masters degree in teaching or a TEFL certificate such as CELTA or Trinity CertTESOL.
• Teaching experience is an advantage
• Ability to teach/substitute Spanish or German language classes is an advantage
• Experience with Trinity and Cambridge exams is an advantage

Salary and Benefits

€1,600 - €2,176 / month (gross)

≈ £1,370–£1,863 / $1,845–$2,509

Conditions

• Part-time: At 70% of the full working day according to the Non-Regulated Education Agreement, currently 1600 gross, per month.
• Full time: At 100% of full time according to the Non-Regulated Education Agreement, currently 2176 gross, monthly.
