Web Developer

Akkodis is seeking a Web Developer for a Contract with a client in Nashville, TN (Remote) . The candidate must have advanced proficiency in RPGLE, CLLE, and DB2/400 with 5+ years of hands‑on development experience. Rate Range: $55/hour to $57/hour; the rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Web Developer Job Responsibilities Develop, test, and maintain applications using RPGLE, CLLE, and DB2/400 on the AS/400 platform. Create and update technical design documents, specifications, and system documentation. Provide subject‑matter expertise and guidance to team members across multiple development initiatives.

Lead troubleshooting efforts to resolve application issues and deliver effective technical solutions. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support key decisions and ensure smooth project execution. Contribute to continuous improvements by reviewing code, identifying gaps, and implementing best practices.

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline. 5+ years of experience with RPGLE, CLLE, and DB2/400. Client requires strong AS/400 development expertise across RPG III, RPG IV, and COBOL 400. Client requires the ability to lead technical tasks, provide solutions, and collaborate across multiple teams.
