About the Role
As a Warehouse Storeperson, you'll be part of the team that gets every BPS order out the door - accurately, on time, and in one piece.
This is a hands-on, physical role across our full warehouse operation. On any given day you'll be picking and packing customer orders, receiving inbound stock, unloading containers, processing returns, and keeping the warehouse running the way it should. You'll be working with everything from chemicals and cleaning gear through to pumps, filters and heaters, so you'll pick up solid product knowledge along the way.
The pool industry is seasonal, with our busiest period running from October to February. Candidates must be available for extended hours and weekend shifts during the summer season to support our retail showroom and online operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Receiving inbound stock and checking against purchase orders
- Unloading and destuffing shipping containers
- Processing customer returns, assessing condition, and restocking
- Safe operation of forklift and materials handling equipment
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment
- Assisting with stocktakes and cycle counts
- General warehouse duties to support daily operations
About You
- Current forklift licence (LF) - essential
- Previous warehouse, despatch or distribution experience
- Strong attention to detail - accuracy in picking and despatch is the core of this role
- Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling and repetitive tasks
- Reliable and punctual - the team depends on you being there
- Able to work at pace without losing accuracy, particularly through peak season
- Available for weekend shifts on a rotating roster, plus extended hours during peak season
- A self-motivated team player who stays organised when things get busy
Nice to Have (Not Required)
- Experience with pool, spa, or chemical products
- Experience with warehouse management or inventory systems
- Experience in a high-volume e-commerce despatch environment
