Warehouse Storeperson

• Full-time permanent role
• Monday to Friday: 6:30am – 3:00pm
• Guaranteed pay increase after successful completion of 6-month probation

The Company

Our client is a long-standing cable manufacturer and distributor with over two decades of experience in the Australian industrial electrical cable market. Based in Oakleigh South, they are a well-established warehouse and distribution business known for quality products and strong industry relationships.

Responsibilities and duties will include:

• Picking and packing customer orders
• Putting away incoming stock and maintaining accurate inventory records
• Loading and unloading trucks using a forklift
• Cable assembly and operating cable reeling machines
• General warehouse, stock control and inventory duties
• Maintaining a safe, clean and organised warehouse

The successful candidate will require:

• Current forklift licence (essential and a must)
• Previous warehouse and stores experience
• Experience picking orders, putting away stock and loading/unloading trucks
• Must be competent with RF scanners and have good computer skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Reliable, self-motivated and able to work independently and as part of a team

Hours and Rate

Day shift hours

Monday to Friday, 6.30am - 3.00pm

Hourly Rate: $32.89 per hour + super + Overtime + bonus

Guaranteed pay increase after 6 months probation period

Candidates must have full Australian working rights.
