VR GP – Skin Cancer & Procedural Medicine

We are seeking a VR GP with an interest in skin cancer medicine and procedural work to join a busy, dedicated skin cancer service with an established patient base and consistently growing demand. Whether you're looking for full time or part time, we offer genuine flexibility to suit your lifestyle

About the role

• Permanent, full-time or part-time (not a locum role)

• Focus on skin cancer medicine and procedures including skin checks, dermoscopy, biopsies and excisions

• Join an established skin cancer service with a loyal patient base and strong ongoing demand

• Opportunity to work alongside an experienced GP with a special interest in skin cancer medicine, while enjoying the autonomy to build your own practice

• Skin imaging technology and an experienced multidisciplinary team to support you in delivering high quality procedural care

• Opportunity to develop or incorporate other procedural interests, including cosmetic medicine, musculoskeletal procedures and other areas of expertise, depending on your qualifications and interests

• No after-hours and no weekend work

About you

• FRACGP or FACRRM with Vocational Registration

• Experience or qualifications in skin cancer medicine and/or surgery are highly regarded, however GPs with a genuine interest in developing these skills are encouraged to apply

• Experience or an interest in other procedural areas, including cosmetic medicine, is welcomed

• Confident performing dermoscopy, skin checks, biopsies and excisions, or keen to further develop these skills

• Full, unrestricted AHPRA registration, with no current or previous conditions, undertakings or restrictions

• This opportunity is available to VR GPs only. Unfortunately, GP Registrars, non VR GPs and IMGs requiring supervision are not eligible for this position.

If you're thinking about relocating but would like to experience the clinic and the region first, a paid trial of up to two weeks can be arranged, including flights and accommodation for suitable candidates.

Fly in fly out and drive in drive out arrangements may also be considered for the right applicant. The current Skin Cancer GP successfully works on a one week on, one week off drive in drive out roster, demonstrating the flexibility on offer.
