The School of Health Sciences invites applications for the position of Tutor/Senior Tutor in Bioscience. This is an ongoing full-time position.
Mō tēnei tūranga mahi - About this role
In this role you will undertake and coordinate teaching of Bioscience courses using a variety of modes of delivery mediums including through electronic and online technologies. Key attributes for this position include knowledge and expertise in physiology and pathophysiology, chemistry, biochemistry and microbiology for health sciences, excellent course administrative skills for establishing smooth running of the courses and excellent skills for internal and/or distance student engagement. Previous experience delivering or supporting Bioscience course practicals would be highly advantageous.

Applicants for Tutor/Senior Tutor are expected to:
have a postgraduate qualification in Bioscience or related discipline
have teaching experience in online, blended, internal and distance teaching delivery
teach Bioscience courses in Bachelor of Health Science, Bachelor of Nursing and Bachelor of Science programmes
have teaching experience in internal, online and distance content design and delivery
demonstrate excellent teamwork and self-management skills.
This position falls within a Tutor/Senior Tutor salary range. The agreed salary will consider the candidate's qualifications and experience.
Tutor salary range: $66,299 - $87,116
Senior Tutor salary range: $86,116 - $100,987

The Health Science team in School of Health Sciences provides a unique opportunity to collaborate and work with staff across campuses and Schools within the College of Health. Our courses are core courses in Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Nursing so you will be working with Nursing staff as well as School of Health Sciences staff.
