Job Description

We are seeking a Client Relationship Manager who has a natural inclination toward customer/client and business development relationship management, new business pursuits and collaboration from early stage through project delivery. The opportunity here is to be an integral part of the leadership team, sit at the table and be involved in every aspect of the business with primary responsibility for driving and enhancing client relationships and the pursuit of new opportunities. This is a highly consultative sales process, not a one call close, one that requires the right professional acumen and patience and value building and partnership throughout. The ideal target client audience is broad based in both the public & private sector, facilities, real estate development, education, medical, retail and other market sectors where their business intersects innovation, sustainability, environmental friendliness. Industries of interest and relevance: commercial construction, preconstruction, business development, prefab construction, mass timber, manufacturing, modular construction, subcontractor or trade partner construction client development, facilities or capital program leadership for large institutions (education, healthcare, government) or related. The solution & product can range from $20M-$80M, so we need someone that has the professional approach and ability to cultivate strong relationships for high value products and services. We will consider experienced talent that ranges from someone earlier in their career with 10-15 years experience in Construction, Commercial Real Estate, Specialty Contracting or variation of these industries with an end user/client relationship focus and responsibility. We also will consider talented client development and relationship leaders who have 20+ years experience in the same or similar industries. We want someone who also can innovate processes, enhance the client approach and build a system and then oversight of a team as you are elevated into a role of far greater responsibility.

Desired Qualifications and Experience 15+ years experience in Business Development & Client Relationships Construction, Manufacturing, Capital Equipment or related industry experience listed above Bachelor’s Degree is highly desired but not required Strong work history and tenure Regional relationships & network in the San Francisco Bay Area region Compensation $175,000 - $350,000 Base Salary plus incentives for significant bonus/commission Strong employee benefits package with full medical, dental, vision, 401K and match, vehicle allowance, fuel card, every tech tool needed to do your job effectively and access and support for industry events, trade shows and additional training and development.
