The successful candidate will be at the forefront of technology modernization and capability engineering, with a strong emphasis on the future. This role is pivotal in driving the modernization and transformation agenda, and the SVP is expected to build and maintain strong relationships within the IT department and with other business leaders. The position is instrumental in meeting the company's strategic goals and requires a leader who can effectively manage a team of software engineers and oversee the engineering function to ensure the delivery of secure, scalable, and supportable technology solutions. Applicants must have a minimum of 12-15 years of progressive IT experience, with at least 5 years in senior leadership within the banking or financial services industry. A proven track record in leading cloud modernization, microservices architecture, and DevOps/CI/CD initiatives in secure, regulated environments is essential. The role also demands a strong background in delivering technology solutions across various banking domains, particularly in sales and acquisition. The SVP will be responsible for providing solution conceptual design, evaluating technical risks, and implementing on-prem, cloud-based, and hybrid strategies for web and mobile applications.
