Commercial Vendor Strategy and Proposition Manager
Responsibilities:
Vendor Relationship Management – develop new and maintain strong relationships with Asset Finance approved suppliers to build vendor finance partnerships.
Influencing Requirements of the Role -Success in this role depends on the ability to influence across multiple levels of the organisation and the wider market.
Business Development Support by acting as the main point of contact between the Asset Finance department and its newly developed vendor network. Working with existing Relationship Managers ad their customers to identify new vendor partnership opportunities to expand the asset finance portfolio.
- Support vendor onboarding processes, ensuring timely setup, and training with the appropriate governance and approvals.
Provide an excellent level of customer service, further improving the customer experience with both over the phone and face to face interactions.
- Generate and execute sales from lead (where qualified to do so) to fulfilment in accordance with the Omni-Channel ethos and activity management system.
Sales and Pipeline Management – working closely with the new business development teams you will drive deal flow through the vendor channels and support transactions.
The role holder will provide advice and day to day transactional support to our customers across a range of financial products, at all times supporting our customers to enable them to achieve their financial goals.
Contract and Agreement Management - Negotiate and manage commercial agreements with vendors. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards in all vendor agreements. Review and update contract terms to reflect changes in business needs or market conditions.
Internal Stakeholder Collaboration – work closely with the Commercial Relationship Managers, Product, Credit, operations, legal and risk teams to ensure smooth execution of vendor programs. Provide training and guidance to internal teams on the vendor product offering.
Market and Competitive Analysis - Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and vendor strategies. Provide strategic input into product development based on vendor feedback and market insights.
Customer Service - Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and vendor strategies. Provide strategic input into product development based on vendor feedback and market insights.
Requirements:Minimum APA in Loans.
Ability to build and maintain relationships with Vendors / Approved Asset Finance
Strong credit and financial analysis skills and a good understanding of the finance requirements of Irish SMEs
Full driving license as this role will require you to travel.
Comfortable working with data to assess portfolio performance, vendor performance and trends to report and upscale on performance.
