Truck Driver - Asphalt

Our client is a leading provider of integrated road construction, surfacing and maintenance solutions across Australia. With a strong reputation for safety, innovation and delivery excellence, involved in major infrastructure projects ranging from highways and arterial roads to local council and commercial works.

Roster:

Monday to Friday 7am 4pm (some night work)

What you will be doing:

• Operating HC vehicles to support spray seal, bitumen spraying and road construction activities
• Transporting materials, equipment and bitumen to and from worksites safely and efficiently
• Assisting with spray seal and asphalt operations as required on site
• Conducting daily prestart checks, basic maintenance and ensuring vehicles are kept in a safe, roadworthy condition
• Working closely with crew members to ensure jobs are completed safely, on time and to quality standards
• Adhering to all WHS, environmental and traffic management requirements
• Working outdoors in varying weather conditions across regional and metro locations
• Being flexible to work overtime, weekends, night shifts, and travel or stay away from home when required

What you will need:

• HR or HC Licence (essential)
• Dangerous Goods Licence or willingness to obtain
• Experience in truck driving, ideally within spray seal, bitumen spraying or road construction environments (desirable)
• Construction Induction (White) Card
• Strong commitment to safety, reliability and teamwork
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Flexibility to work overtime, weekends, night shifts, and to travel or stay away when required
• A positive attitude, strong work ethic and willingness to support crew operations
