Registered Nurse (RN) | Registered Nurse First Assistant Location: Massachusetts Agency: All Medical Personnel Pay: $2,519 to $2,799 per week Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with All Medical Personnel to find a qualified RNFA RN in Massachusetts! Specialty : Travel RN-First Assistant Job Description An RN first assistant, or RNFA, works alongside the surgeon in the operating room providing direct patient care. Nurses need extensive surgical experience and additional training to qualify as first assistants, and many nurses get certification in perioperative nursingor obtain credentials as advanced practice nurses.
Assist physicians with patient management. Provide Surgical patient care by assessing, planning, and implementing the nursing care patients receive before, during and after surgery. Pre and Post-operative patient education.
Monitoring the patients physical and emotional well being. Qualifications and Job Info Minimum of 1-2 years OR experience Current ACLS & BLS Required Must have current state license Travel experience a plus Demonstrate the highest level of professionalism when interacting with patients, families, physicians, and hospital staff members.
