Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical Intensive Care Unit Location: Columbus, OH Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,251 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/4/2026 About the Position Job Title: Medical Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: MICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of Medical ICU experience required. License: Valid compact or state license required. Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, NIHSS, AHA certifications required.

Must-Have: Proficiency in EPIC documentation system. Description: Provide direct patient care in a Medical Intensive Care Unit setting. Manage patients with multisystem organ failure, respiratory failure, sepsis, and other critical conditions.

Demonstrate expertise in ventilator management and continuous IV sedation. Interpret and manage dysrhythmias effectively. Experience with telemetry and proficient IV skills are essential.

Ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for optimal patient outcomes. Participate in continuous glucose monitoring for hyperglycemia. Utilize specialized equipment such as CRRT, IV pumps, cardiac monitors, and ventilators.

Assist in the care of ventilated patients and those with complex medical needs. Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
