INTERNSHIP TYPE: Internship - Master's Level HOURS/SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday, 20 hours/week TBD (based on program/student availability) PROGRAM/LOCATION: Assertive Community Treatment Team, Manchester *this is a community-based internship which requires travel to clients ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) *Click here to learn more about the program! Assertive Community Treatment Team (ACTT) serves adults 18 years of age and older.
ACTT provides intensive community-based treatment, support, and rehabilitation to individuals who have a serious persistent mental illness (SPMI) or a dual diagnosis of SPMI and a Substance Use Disorder and be determined as requiring a high level of service needs. PROGRAM OUTLINE: By participating as a Master's Level Intern with CHR, you can expect to gain firsthand experience and training related to clinical mental health & substance abuse evaluation and treatment as well as other services, including assessment, working on independent living skills, outreach treatment services and medication evaluation and monitoring. QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Must be enrolled in a Master's degree program in mental health field.
Experience: Demonstrated experience in mental health treatment preferred but not required. Licensure/Certification/Registration : Valid driver's license WHY INTERN AT CHR?
