Registered Nurse (RN) | Intensive Care Unit (ICU) / Critical Care Location: Jeffersonville, IN Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,110 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/26/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified ICU/Critical Care RN in Jeffersonville, Indiana, 47130! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Intensive/Critical Care Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Shift Hours per Shift: 12 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years inpatient acute care RN experience License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Epic experience Description: A professional nurse is accountable for the care of a group of patients. The Registered Nurse focuses on safe, effective, patient and family-centered care, customer satisfaction, and quality outcomes.
The RN is responsible for assisting in maintaining a financially stable unit. The RN promotes personal development with an emphasis on evidence-based practice and education supported by a governance framework. The RN supervises licensed and non-licensed staff members.
Applying the caring processes of an established model of care, the RN is responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating the plan of care. The RN focuses on patient and family comfort, education, and satisfaction. The RN applies educational and professional experiences in delivering quality care and mentoring/precepting staff.
Job Responsibilities: Assessment: Performs assessments and reassessments per policy and procedure or as warranted by patient condition. Demonstrates the ability to make sound independent decisions. Development & Implementation: Initiates, prioritizes, and implements the plan of care.
Reviews and revises the plan as indicated. Collaborates with patient/family and interdisciplinary services. Utilizes resources appropriately to support the needs of the organization, patient, and family.
Evaluation: Monitors and documents responses to clinical interventions. Education: Facilitates, coordinates, provides, and evaluates education specific to patient/family needs and as appropriate to the care, treatment, and services provided during their stay and at discharge. Leadership: Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel.
Functions as a mentor/preceptor. Demonstrates, encourages, and facilitates teamwork. Identifies and communicates opportunities for improvement.
Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts and implements practice changes. Complies with regulatory standards. Participates in the governance model.
Required Skills & Experience: Two years of acute care RN experience.
