Registered Nurse (RN) | Cardiovascular Operating Room Location: Vero Beach, FL Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,397 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 5/5/2026 About the Position TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified CVOR RN in Vero Beach, Florida, 32960! Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: CVOR Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 5x8 Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 2 years of direct CVOR experience required License: Active state license required Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS (must have at time of submittal), NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) Must-Have: Experience in Cardiac OR Description: Position is for an RN in the CVOR specialty. The start date is contingent on the next applicable orientation date, which is typically 3-4 weeks out.
Candidates must have 2 years of direct CVOR experience. First-time travelers are accepted. Certification requirements include AHA BLS and ACLS, which must be current at the time of submission.
NIHSS certification must be obtained prior to starting the position. Cardiac call is required, with 2-3 days on call each week, totaling a minimum of 6 calls per month. The call schedule varies depending on staff availability.
While clinicians may float within their scope to meet facility needs, they will primarily focus on the CVOR. The facility does not accommodate block scheduling. Local candidates are accepted at the same rate.
It is essential to include all requested time off upfront during the submission process. Travelers must be nicotine-free. A negative 10-panel drug screen, including nicotine, is required.
Candidates must provide two references from a direct supervisor or manager with direct experience in the unit for the past 18 months. The facility does not accept any license hits. All travelers must adhere to a strict smoke-free policy.
First-time travelers need to complete required tests during orientation and must pass within two attempts. Study materials will be provided. There are time-sensitive modules that need to be prioritized once confirmed for an assignment.
Modules are non-billable and vary in length, typically averaging between 6 to 15 hours.
