Cath Lab Tech Location: Omaha, NE Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,994 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/13/2026 About the Position Job Title: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Profession: Rad Tech Specialty: Cardiac Cath Lab Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 8 hours plus call Experience: Minimum 1 year License: Not specified Certifications: ARRT or RCIS registered, BLS Must-Have: - Cath lab experience - Experience in left heart catheterizations, stent placements, ICDs, and pacemakers Description: Department: Cardiac Cath Lab Tech Candidates must be ARRT or RCIS registered and hold a BLS certification. No clinical involvement required. Candidates must not be full-time, part-time, or PRN with any facility associated with the organization.
Artificial nails are prohibited in all departments providing patient care; refusal to remove nails will result in termination of contract. A driver's license is required for verification of candidate location. The lab has one suite and averages 1-3 cases per day.
Common diagnoses include CAD, AMI, and care of inpatient and outpatient adults. Job duties include working in the cath lab, assisting the physician, and monitoring/documenting cases. Previous travel experience is preferred but not required.
The electronic medical record system used is EPIC, along with Siemens catheterization equipment, Siemens Sensis, Apollo, and Phillips IVUS. A supervisor will be present in the lab during each shift. There is no self-scheduling; the daily schedule is set, although self-scheduling on call is permitted to some degree.
Call requirements include 1-2 nights per week, one weekend per month, and rotational holiday call. Response time for call is expected to be 30 minutes. Floating may be required as needed.
Hospital-supplied scrubs are the dress code. Orientation will involve 1-3 days at three campuses. Travelers are expected to be centrally located among the campuses to meet response time expectations.
The cancellation policy allows the hospital to cancel up to four shifts during the assignment. Charting is done via the EPIC system. A BSN is not required for this position.
