Behavioral Health Tech Location: Bronx, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,852 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/28/2026 About the Position Job Title: Psych Tech / PCT Profession: Tech Specialty: Psychiatric Unit Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 8H Days Hours per Shift: 37.5 hours per week Experience: Minimum 2 years in nursing or psychiatric/behavioral health care License: Not Required Certifications: BLS (AHA), CPI Must-Have: - High school diploma or G.E.D. - Two years of full-time experience in a high-volume, intensive care setting or a satisfactory combination of education, training, and experience. - Graduate of a State Certified PCT/PCA program. - Certified to perform vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, and blood glucose monitoring. - Successful completion of training in the application and use of restraints and seclusion. Description: Responsible for providing patient care in a psychiatric unit. Assist with daily living activities and monitor patient behavior.

Maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients. Document patient information accurately in the electronic health record system. Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver quality care.
