Ipsos Translation Services is Ipsos North America’s centre of excellence for translation for markets in Canada, the US and overseas. What you can expect to be doing: Work with internal and external operational teams to ensure excellent translation is collected and apply necessary quality controls Manage translation projects concurrently while ensuring that each is smoothly executed on budget and on schedule Be comfortable in data entry systems (Excel and a third party vendor “translation entry system” – training will be provided) Be comfortable conversing with clients and translation suppliers Be comfortable in a multi‑language and multi‑cultural environment Learn and apply some basic HTML “tagging” to translation (training provided) Manage all project tasks on a daily basis to ensure successful and efficient project completion in a “multi‑tasking” and time‑sensitive environment This might be the job for you if you have: B.A. or certificate in French‑English translation not required, but preferred. Experience in the field will also be considered.

Fully fluent in French and English (Spanish or other languages would be an additional asset) Excellent time‑management skills with an emphasis on prioritizing workload Excellent writing and verbal communication skills that clearly articulate requirements to a wide audience Strong organizational skills, attention to detail and commitment to the accuracy and completeness of information Excellent command of Microsoft Office (strong knowledge in Microsoft Excel required, particularly using various formulas) If you don’t meet 100% of the requirements, we encourage all who feel they might be a fit for the opportunity to apply. In accordance with Ontario & British Columbia law, the estimated hourly salary for this role is $20 - $25/hour.
