Tax Analyst – Corporate Services Division Reporting to the Tax Director, the Tax Analyst is responsible for preparing and completing tax filings, handling all tax-related matters under the Graham / Gvest / Gracorp umbrella, and maintaining a solid understanding of tax compliance, corporate returns, commodity tax returns, income tax, and cross‑border tax implications. Role Overview This is a permanent full‑time role with a minimum of 2 days in our Corporate Office in Calgary. Key Responsibilities Lead operational accounting close activities (month end, quarter end, year end), including balance sheet reconciliations, journal entry review, estimates, and compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.

Provide technical accounting expertise, particularly on revenue recognition, audit support, internal allocations, labour burden rates, and preparation of accounting memos and executive‑ready materials. Own day‑to‑day Central Operations Accounting responsibilities, assuming full accountability during maternity leave periods and ensuring continuity post‑transition. Drive process improvement and systems optimization, including adherence to documented processes, support of ERP enhancements (SAP preferred), and promotion of standardization and automation.

Act as a senior business partner and leader, collaborating closely with Operations, FP&A, and Corporate Finance while providing guidance and oversight to accounting staff as needed. Required Tools and Qualifications Education: Degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field. Experience: 7+ years of progressive accounting experience; construction, engineering, or project‑based environments strongly preferred.

Software: Experience with ERP systems; SAP experience strongly preferred with advanced Excel and Taxprep software. Certifications: CPA designation is required; strong knowledge of ASPE/Canadian GAAP (IFRS exposure considered an asset).
