Newtownabbey - Traffic Manager - managing a small team This full-time role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of fleet management and compliance, coordinating driver agencies and suppliers, and managing the organisation, planning, and administration of the distribution and delivery operationensuring opportunities are maximised and costs are controlled as efficiently as possible. Key Responsibilities Plan and schedule daily deliveries and collections. Monitor routes, traffic, and delays; adjust plans as needed. Ensure compliance with UK/NI transport laws, tachograph rules, and driver hours. Oversee vehicle maintenance records and audits. Lead and support drivers; conduct briefings and performance checks. Handle customer delivery queries and provide service updates. Produce transport performance reports and manage fuel/operational costs. Use transport systems, telematics, and compliance software.
