The Test Manager (10-15 years’ experience minimum)

must understand End-to-End testing focusing on business processes that span multiple business units, systems and projects. Accordingly, the role is expected to be less about traditional testing techniques and technical skills, and more about business process orchestration across impacted areas, stakeholder management and cross‑functional coordination, deep understanding of end‑to‑end business processes and their dependencies.

Key areas

• Test Management expertise (define test strategy and plans, establish Quality Metrics/KPI, define testing approach in terms of Automation vs. Manual testing, risk‑based approach, etc, understand environments/Test and Release cycles (there are also organization specifics here)..)
• Facilitation of the Process (Test planning and execution, Defect and Issue Tracking, Go/No-Go Decisions)
• Business Process Expertise (understanding the business processes, dependencies, critical scenarios, regulatory impact, within an organization like ours)
• Stakeholder Management (manage conflict, gain commitment, address and escape issues diplomatically)
• Strong communication and change management skills
• German language is a plus
