Position Summary

The successful candidate must demonstrate a keen and enthusiastic attitude to succeed in a technical sales role and have a confident ability to communicate product and technical information with customers.

Responsibilities

Comprehensive sales training and support will be provided to the candidate on an ongoing basis to ensure you have everything you need to be successful in the role. The successful candidate will also be required to:

• Manage their sales pipeline & territory planning through the company’s CRM (Customer Relationship Management tool)
• Identify target account opportunities within the territory to achieve budgeted targets and growth objectives

The role reports directly to the Regional Sales Manager - NSW. Communication skills and personal presentation must be of a high standard to reflect the company’s image. Travel throughout selected regions of NSW will be essential to service the current customer base, as well as develop new business. The position is based at the Newcastle branch in Hexham and services the NSW market.

Requirements

Draw on your welding industry experience in either a sales or fabricator / welder role. Previous experience with hard facing welding consumables, welded wear resistant products, sales of industrial products and welding industry experience would be an advantage, but not essential.
