About the Opportunity

We are looking for a Senior Technical Project Manager tolead complex technology migrations and support large-scale modernisationprogrammes.

You will manage migration initiatives from strategy andplanning through implementation, cutover, and post-migration stabilisation.Working with Architecture, Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, Development,Operations, and Business teams, you will coordinate multiple workstreams whileprotecting service continuity.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technology-migration projects from initial planning through final delivery and stabilisation;
• Define migration strategies, plans, workstreams, and delivery milestones;
• Manage programme scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies;
• Coordinate Architecture, Infrastructure, Cloud, Security, Development, Operations, and Business teams;
• Plan and track migration waves while minimising disruption to business operations;
• Coordinate testing, deployment, cutover, rollback planning, and post-migration support;
• Establish project governance and maintain delivery controls;
• Produce clear status reports and executive updates;
• Manage stakeholders and align technical teams with business priorities;
• Identify blockers, risks, and dependencies early and coordinate mitigation actions;
• Support application-modernisation and cloud-transformation initiatives;
• Capture lessons learned and improve the migration-factory approach over time.

Essential Requirements

• Solid experience managing technology projects or programmes;
• Proven experience leading technology-migration or digital-transformation initiatives;
• Familiarity with application-modernisation or cloud-transformation programmes;
• Experience managing scope, schedules, budgets, resources, risks, and dependencies;
• Understanding of project-governance and complex delivery practices;
• Ability to coordinate multiple technical teams and business areas simultaneously;
• Experience with executive reporting and stakeholder management;
• Familiarity with migration planning, testing, cutover, and stabilisation activities;
• Experience working in complex, large-scale corporate environments;
• Advanced English for professional communication;
• Strong communication, influence, organisation, and problem-solving skills.

Nice-to-Have Qualifications

These qualifications are valuable but not mandatory:

• Experience in Financial Services;
• Professional background in banking, fintech, insurance, Asset Management, or Wealth Management;
• Previous experience with a global consulting organisation;
• Experience with large-scale cloud or data-centre migrations;
• Exposure to structured migration-factory or migration-wave models;
• Experience working with global or geographically distributed teams.
