TECHNICAL DESIGNER

*Job Title:* Senior Technical Designer- Apparel

(Women’s Sportswear: Jackets, Trousers, Blouses, and Dresses)

*Overview: *

An individual that is a team player has a great sense of responsibility, is conscious about garment due dates, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

*Job Responsibilities:*

· Provide technical guidance to the Junior Technical Designers

· Manage product lifecycle from showroom sample through pre-production fit approval

· Lead live model fit sessions.

· Develop comprehensive technical package to final full graded specifications. Documents the fit results, deliver clear communication through specs, pattern corrections, photos, and review of blocks

· Execute fit comments in a timely manner

· Make recommendations on garment construction that produces the best results

· Evaluate garment specs and construction, ensuring factory corrections are executed properly

· Maintain and track the flow of samples from fit samples through TOP samples

· Deliver clear communication with clients and with oversea factories

· Collaborate with VP of Technical Design to establish block libraries, and construction standards

*Qualifications: *

· Minimum 10 years of technical design experience in women’s sportswear

· Strong PC skills and knowledge of PLM

· Extensive knowledge in patternmaking, grading, and garment construction xkmhxrz

· Live model fitting experiences

· Ability to multitask and work in high volume department

· Strong written and verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $85,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
