Job DescriptionTechnical Business Analyst - Contract Dublin. My client a leading global firm is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Technical Business Analyst to join their group on a rolling clients EMEA Regulatory Finance is responsible for ensuring efficient and proactive management of economic and regulatory capital. The technology team supporting this function provides strategic solutions, and day-to-day support services for business users based in Europe, working with the technology teams in Dublin, Charlotte, New York and India.

You will be Responsible for working with the business partner teams on the delivery of the Capital and other Regulatory Reporting projects, primarily associated with COREP, Statistical, Finrep and Anacredit. You will apply a mix of accounting, data analysis, small build related changes and project management skills to work as part of a team designing and implementing our new regulatory reporting platform. They will need to liaise across various areas of the bank (Finance, Middle Office, Operations and Treasury etc.) You will Analyse and document business and technical processes for data sourcing (both transnational and reference), data normalisation, and regulatory and internal management information reporting.

You will be working closely with key business subject matter experts, development and testing teams across the organisation to produce business requirements associated with business, operational and technical with testing support teams to ensure full understanding of change and full complement of testing is performed. Will also support business partners during User Acceptance Testing for reviewing and approving test scenarios/test cases developed by QA testers Successful candidates will experience of mandatory regulatory implementations within a Tier 1 Investment level understanding of financial products and key asset classes such as Debt, Equity, Commodity control mentality. Fundamental accounting and reconciliation Data Analysis capabilities, with experience in writing BRDs, and reviewing Technical Specifications.

Some experience of using visual BI / ETL tools (e.g. Alteryx, Informatica etc) to build simple to analyse large volumes of data via MS Excel and SQL (pivots, data comparison etc.).Experience in creating test scenarios and User Acceptance testing.
