Role
We are seeking a dedicated and innovative Science teacher committed to supporting the growth of every student. You will engage with the school community, reflect on your teaching, and use evidence‑based approaches to meet diverse student needs. In this role, you will deliver an engaging and differentiated Science curriculum aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum, catering to the diverse abilities of all students.
Creating an inclusive environment that empowers students to reach their full potential is a key focus, along with using evidence‑based teaching and differentiation strategies to enhance student outcomes. Ongoing reflection and refinement of your practice is supported to continually improve effectiveness. Building positive relationships with students, staff, and the wider school community is important, as is contributing to the promotion of the school’s values, ethos, and priorities.

About The School
Narrogin Senior High School is a genuine comprehensive educational institution on a whole school improvement journey encompassing Fogarty EDvance, National School Improvement and Teaching for Impact. Our Business plan commenced in 2024 with a clear direction based on student outcomes. We have a strong academic focus that reflects the aspirations and desires of our contributory community, an outstanding sporting record, and a long‑standing commitment to Australian Tertiary Admission Rank (ATAR) program.
Our diverse context also allows us to deliver a range of other programs to ensure we cater for students’ abilities and pathways. Mobility appointments for permanent metropolitan and south west teachers
- Note that south west teachers are not eligible to move to another south west school under this trial.

- consent to a Nationally Coordinated Criminal History Check and obtain a current Screening Clearance Number issued by the Department of Education’s Screening Unit before you start
