Teacher - Primary

We are seeking to establish a pool of Primary Teachers for permanent and fixed term, full-time and part-time vacancies which may arise during the 2026 school year. Appointments may be offered at any time for vacancies that commence during this period.

The Role

Suitable applicants will ideally exhibit highly developed interpersonal skills and the capacity to work cooperatively with all others to create a welcoming and vibrant environment for students and families. Applicants with sound curriculum knowledge and pedagogy that encompasses ‘Critical and Creative Thinking’ are highly desirable.

Suitable applicants should possess a strong capacity to plan challenging and engaging programs using an excellent understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum. A focus on early intervention and differentiated curriculum to meet each student at their point of need is a high priority.

Suitable applicants will ideally possess proficiency in current and effective teaching practice and be supportive of the school’s ethos, strategic goals, and directions. Knowledge of Positive Behaviour Support, Zones of Regulation, Talk for Writing, and Paul Swan Mathematics would be highly desirable. We are looking for applicants who display data informed practice to differentiate effectively, resulting in high levels of achievement and progress for all students.

Eligibility

To work with us, you must:

• hold an eligible teacher qualification and registration.
• be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment. More information about employment eligibility can be found on our website.
• apply for a WA Working with Children Check before you start; and
• consent to and obtain a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.

Vacancies may arise during the life of this pool that require specialist qualifications (for example vacancies within Early Childhood Education). Only applicants, in the pool, possessing the required qualifications will be considered for appointment in these circumstances.
