The Role
Suitable applicants will ideally display a strong understanding of evidence-informed teaching and learning practices, including the effective use of a balanced literacy approach, formative assessment, and differentiated instruction to enhance student learning outcomes. Applicants should be committed to delivering high-quality literacy and numeracy programs and working collaboratively with colleagues to continuously refine and strengthen instructional practice. Knowledge and experience in the systematic teaching of phonological awareness and synthetic phonics, the Science of Reading, Talk for Writing, and hands‑on approaches to Mathematics would be highly regarded.
Suitable applicants should be reflective practitioners who are committed to ongoing professional growth and contribute positively to a culture of continuous improvement. They will ideally actively engage in the school’s professional learning programs, collaborative inquiry processes, classroom observation practices, and coaching and mentoring opportunities that support both individual and collective excellence.
