Job Description

Overview The Talent Acquisition Coordinator is responsible for ownership of transactional talent acquisition processes and providing front-line support to hiring managers and applicants. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator’s time is mainly spent on the requisition, hiring, and onboarding processes. Responsibilities Serve as front-line, first point-of-contact for candidates and hiring managers throughout the hiring and onboarding process Manage the requisition and offer approval processes, per defined requirements/hierarchies, and draft offer letters using the Applicant Tracking System (iCIMS) Manage candidate communication via iCIMS, email, or telephone Proactively manage pre-employment screening process, providing updates to hiring managers and team members as appropriate Initiate background check, drug screen, and MVR processes for selected candidates after the offer has been accepted Initiate and manage electronic onboarding process Work with managers and employees to ensure all I-9s are completed accurately and timely using the Tracker I-9 system Collaborate with Corporate Recruiters and Talent Acquisition Manager regarding progress of candidates in process, as appropriate Code all applicable vendor invoices accurately and timely.

Follow up with vendors and Accounts Payable department as needed to ensure timely payments Qualifications Prior experience as an Administrative Assistant, Office Manager, or HR Assistant Excellent customer service skills and ability to act with sense of urgency A keen eye for details Exceptional organizational skills and time management skills Ability to have positive and professional interactions with all levels of employees and management, vendors, and external partners Ability to apply critical thinking and sound judgment to solve problems within scope of role and elevate items appropriately Exposure to billing and GL coding preferred Experience with applicant tracking systems preferred General knowledge of HR functions and thorough knowledge of transactional HR processes Ability to appropriately handle sensitive and confidential information and maintain professional composure while working under pressure Benefits TEC provides our employees and their families with a full menu of health, wellness, and retirement benefits.
