Role Description This is a full-time Swimming Pool & Water Treatment Technician role based in Ahmedabad, structured as a hybrid position with some work-from-home flexibility for planning, reporting, and coordination tasks. The technician will install, operate, and maintain swimming pool filtration, heating, disinfection, and water treatment systems at client sites, ensuring safe water quality and efficient system performance. Daily responsibilities include performing routine inspections, testing and balancing water chemistry, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues, and coordinating with the design and engineering teams on system upgrades and repairs.

The role also involves supporting pool automation setup, monitoring energy and chemical usage, documenting service activities, and providing clear guidance to clients on system operation and preventive maintenance. The technician will interact professionally with residential, hospitality, corporate, and institutional clients, adhering to safety standards and company procedures while meeting project timelines.

Qualifications

• Strong technical skills in swimming pool equipment installation, operation, and maintenance, including pumps, filters, heaters, and disinfection systems.
• Knowledge of water treatment principles such as water chemistry testing, dosing, filtration processes, and safe handling of chemicals.
• Ability to read and interpret basic technical drawings, equipment manuals, and layout plans related to pool and water systems.
• Experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, using appropriate tools and diagnostic methods to resolve system issues.
• Familiarity with automation and control systems for pools, including sensors, controllers, and remote monitoring tools.
• Good documentation and reporting skills, including maintaining service logs, checklists, and maintenance records with attention to detail.
• Effective communication and customer service skills to explain technical matters clearly and interact with diverse client stakeholders.
• Commitment to safety standards, including use of PPE, adherence to site protocols, and awareness of relevant regulations and best practices.
• Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad and travel to client locations as needed, with readiness for occasional extended or weekend
