Job Description
Our client is a leading Water Treatment Plant. Due to growth and expansion of the plant, they are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with strong heavy industry fixed plant experience to join the team.
About the Role
This position will see you working on a brownfield’s expansion of the plant. You will be hired on an 18‑month fixed‑term contract, with strong likelihood of extension.
- Deliver structural engineering designs and calculations for steel and concrete structures.
- Review engineering standards for constructability issues.
- Perform structural assessments of existing infrastructure and recommend upgrade solutions.
- Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering teams and external stakeholders.
To be Successful
- Bachelor of Engineering (Structural).
- 2–5 years’ experience in structural engineering within water, heavy industrial or infrastructure projects.
- Experience working on brownfields or operational plant projects.
- Familiarity with Australian Standards and relevant engineering codes.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Full Australian working rights.

Location: Kwinana
Contract: 18‑month fixed term
Salary: $170K per annum + Super (negotiable based on experience)
Hours of work: Monday – Friday: 40 hours per week
