Job DescriptionStructural Engineer Location: Sandyford, Dublin 18 or Santry, Dublin 17 Salary: €45,000 €55,000 DOE Working Model: Hybrid (to be agreed post-probation) Optimize Recruitment is seeking a Structural Design Engineer with 25 years relevant experience for a permanent position within a growing buildings team based in Dublin. You will join a high-performing team delivering quality, cost-effective, and sustainable building projects across a range of sectors including residential, healthcare, education, and commercial. Essential Requirements Honours degree in Structural or Civil Engineering (Level 8 NFQ or equivalent) 25 years post-graduate experience in a structural design consultancy (buildings sector) Strong commitment to health and safety Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Fluent English (spoken and written) Key Responsibilities Structural design of building projects Liaising with clients, design teams, and contractors Site monitoring and inspections Project management support Structural surveys and reporting Site development design The team collaborates closely with architects, developers, local authorities, and property owners to deliver robust and durable building solutions.
