Overview

In this role you will translate client insight into compelling positioning to win strategic pursuits. You will lead pursuit positioning campaigns and collaborate with capture, pursuit, and marketing teams to align on value propositions and strategy. The position is fast-paced and cross-functional, requiring a self-starter who can manage multiple campaigns and stakeholders.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with leadership to design pursuit marketing workshops aligning stakeholders around client insight, value proposition and strategy.
  • Develop and deliver pursuit positioning campaigns aligned to win strategies using a structured approach (SOSTAC).
  • Activate integrated marketing tactics across brand, content, digital, events, and external communications.
  • Conduct market research on trends and competitors to inform value proposition and narrative.
  • Make tactical decisions and prioritise marketing activity under pressure.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration across pursuit teams, regions and functions.
  • Define campaign KPIs, track performance and deliver ROI-based insights.
  • Contribute to board-level reporting on pursuit marketing performance.
  • Leverage embedded AI tools and data-driven methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Manage pursuit or campaign budgets and report performance to stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage workload, priorities, progress and risks with stakeholders.
Key requirements
  • Degree level education in Marketing, Business Studies or related discipline
  • Chartered Institute of Marketing accreditation or equivalent (preferred but not essential)
  • Proven marketing communications experience in a large professional services organization
  • Marketing management experience in a professional services environment
  • Experience managing bids and campaigns within pursuit or capture contexts
  • Ability to develop positioning and campaigns aligned to win strategies
  • Strong strategic thinking and clear articulation of strategy
  • Experience in a complex, cross-matrix organization
  • Experience delivering integrated multi-channel tactics (conferences, events, social, thought leadership)
  • Proven ability to optimize marketing investment and evidence ROI
  • Comfort working with senior leaders and challenging constructively
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration
  • Client-centric and collaborative, aligned to brand and values
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Strong digital capability including multichannel content delivery and familiarity with AI-enabled marketing tools
  • Working knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce), digital marketing platforms and analytics
  • Understanding of GDPR, procurement and compliance requirements
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel and Word
