Store Manager

Navah, operated by Eastman Tec Inc., is seeking an experienced Store Manager to oversee retail operations at 715 Danforth Avenue, Toronto, Ontario. This is a senior operational role with direct responsibility for supplier coordination, visual merchandising execution, staff management, and system implementation. The Store Manager reports to Eastman Tec Inc. management in Texas and Ontario and is expected to operate with a high level of independence and accountability.

Scope of Responsibilities The Store Manager is responsible for managing daily store operations, ensuring the store is fully operational, organized, and aligned with brand standards. This includes active involvement in visual merchandising, product presentation, inventory flow, and in-store merchandising execution. The role requires professional interaction with approved suppliers in accordance with company policy.

The Store Manager will coordinate supplier-related operational matters as directed by management, while strictly enforcing store access rules and non-interference standards. The Store Manager will oversee employee scheduling, supervision, performance management, and discipline. This includes maintaining staff productivity, enforcing company policies, and ensuring a professional work environment at all times.

The Store Manager will assist with the setup, maintenance, and daily use of store systems, including point-of-sale processes, inventory tracking, and operational reporting. Accuracy and consistency are mandatory. The Store Manager will collaborate with the marketing team by supporting in-store promotions, visual campaigns, product placement strategies, and brand execution initiatives.

This role supports marketing execution but does not set marketing strategy. The Store Manager is responsible for maintaining strong customer service standards, handling escalated customer matters, and enforcing return and exchange policies consistently. The Store Manager is authorized to manage day-to-day store operations and staff.

Strategic decisions, supplier agreements, pricing authority, commission structures, and contractual changes remain the responsibility of Eastman Tec Inc. management. Compliance and Conduct The Store Manager must enforce all company policies, including security, camera usage, cash handling, loss prevention, and confidentiality requirements. Any incidents, irregularities, or operational risks must be reported to management immediately.

Qualifications and Requirements Candidates must have proven retail management experience, preferably within off-price or multi-brand retail environments. A valid Canadian work permit is mandatory. Applicants must be legally eligible to work in Canada.

Navah does not provide training for this role. Candidates are expected to be fully operational upon hiring and capable of managing the store independently from the start. Preference will be given to candidates who currently reside within the City of Toronto and are familiar with the local retail market and customer profile.

Strong communication skills, operational discipline, and leadership maturity are required. Employment Terms Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. Employment is subject to applicable Ontario employment standards and company policies.
