Job Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced leader to join the Hyne Pallets team as State Manager across our Victorian pallet sites.

Based from our Rodpak site, the State Manager's mission is to deliver state pallet performance across revenue, cost, customerrelationshipsand operational outcomes.Additionally,tosupport and leadVictorianpallet siteoperationalmanagers and leaders to increase performance and capability.

This role reports to the General Manager - Hyne Pallets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Championinga safety-first culture across all operations, ensuring robust governance, regulatory compliance, and measurable improvements in safety performance outcomes.
  • Deliver sustained state performance across revenue, cost, and operational metrics, ensuring alignment with organisationalandsite-basedstrategies,and shareholder expectations.
  • Lead end-to-end operational execution across the state, ensuringserviceconsistently meets or exceeds customer and contractual requirements.
  • Build,maintain, andleveragestrategic customer partnerships to drive retention, expansion, and long-term business growth.
  • Develop and strengthen site leadership capability through structured coaching, talent development, and succession planning to build a high-performing leadership pipeline.
  • Lead continuous operational improvement, includingoptimisationof production allocation, workflow efficiency, and capital investment strategies tomaximisereturn on assets.

About you:

You are a collaborative and commercially minded leader who drives performance across multiple operational sites throughout Victoria. You are passionate about developing leaders, fostering high-performing teams, standardising processes and delivering strong commercial and operational outcomes. You lead with integrity, communicate effectively, build strong stakeholder relationships and thrive in a fast-paced, multi-site manufacturing environment.

Essential Experience

  • Proven experience in senior operational leadership roles with multi-site or state-level accountability
  • Demonstrated success delivering financial performance across revenue, cost control, and margin improvement
  • Experience driving operational excellence initiatives, including process improvement, production planning, and efficiency gains.
  • Experience in developing long-term strategic customer partnerships and contract negotiations
  • Demonstrated capability in continuous improvement and operational planning.

Desirable Experience

  • Experience within pallet operations, timber, manufacturing, logistics, or similar industrial sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience in service delivery, planning and customer relations, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
  • Lean Manufacturing or Just-in-Time (JIT) experience.
  • ERP or manufacturing systems experience.
